On a warm spring day during the Joseon Dynasty, the wedding of Ryu Ho Seon and his beautiful bride, Hwa Jin, takes place. But come their wedding night, Ho Seon becomes suspicious of his beloved. And with good reason, for his bride is a man!
And now Ho Seon finds himself face-to-face with the bride’s brother, Choi Ki Wan, who explains that Hwa Jin’s loathing of political marriages drove her to disappear before the ceremony even began.
Needless to say, Ho Seon quickly tries to annul the marriage, but his ailing mother is opposed to such a move. The pair must now maintain their union, one that can never be revealed to a single soul!
When Kim Tae Hyeong, comes to congratulate his friend Ho Seon, he falls for Ki Wan and immediately commences to court him. Now both Ki Wan and Ho Seon find themselves in a difficult position.

Dr. Bunnakit is a medical examiner based at a provincial hospital. One day, after carrying out an autopsy on the body of a woman who had seemingly hanged herself, Dr. Bunnakit rules out suicide, as his findings point to homicide. His conclusion suddenly makes him the target of someone very powerful.
When an anonymous man breaks into his house and threatens him to change his report to suicide, Dr. Bunnakit doesn’t take this threat seriously. But that all changes when one of his friends, a prosecutor, suddenly disappears. Dr. Bunnakit quietly conducts his own investigation in order to get at the truth. All clues lead to one suspect, a man named Tan, who denies any involvement. Tan convinces Dr. Bunnakit to team up together in order to find the real murderer.

A lonely young man (Haruma Miura) happens to meet Ruo Lan who has an identical twin sister, Ru Mei. They are older than him. Ruo Lan tells him about her wound from a painful breakup and her troubles being a twin. While supporting Ruo Lan, the young man gets close to Ruo Lan.
Yui Sato (Airi Matsui) is a dispatched contract worker at Amagi Pharmaceutical Company. Her pet has died and she feels deep sorrow over its death. One day, she drinks alone at a bar and shouts, with tears running down her face, “Develop medicine to bring back someone to life!” At that time, a man walks towards her. He makes a spiteful remark that that there is no such medicine that can bring someone back to life. He also tells her to stop barking and to go home. Yui Sato feels anger within herself and she trips him. She then leaves the bar. Yui Sato is unaware that the man she tripped is Kyoichi Amagi (Mokomichi Hayami) and he is the CEO of Amagi Pharmaceutical Company.The next day, Yui Sato hears at work that the CEO is looking for her. When she gets to his office, she realizes the man she tripped in the bar is the CEO. She thinks that she might she get fired, but he suddenly tells her to “Please treat me as a slave.”

La nivel narativ, mai multe vise se suprapun si rup atat firul povestirii, cat si cronologia filmului, pana cand pare ca nici visatorii insisi nu mai sunt siguri in care etapa dramatica a povestii se gasesc la un moment dat. Hou Chi-Jan manipuleaza cu multa dibacie nivelurile narative si elementele de gen. Visul si realitatea se contopesc. “One Day” seamana cu un poem al luminii, culorii, apei si emotiilor, spunand o poveste de dragoste melancolica din Taiwanul zilelor noastre.
Moo-myoung (Cho Seung-Woo) is a Joseon dynasty headhunter who meets and falls in love with lady Ja-young (Soo-Ae) who will become the future Empress Myseongseong. A few years later, Ja-young enters the royal palace to marry King Gojong. Moo-myoung still having feelings for Ja-young and in an attempt to get closer to her becomes her personal bodyguard.
Ja-young, now as the Queen of Joseon, becomes involved in a power struggle with Russia and Japan who are attempting to colonize Korea. Furthermore, King Gojong’s father (Cheon Ho-Jin), who wields true power in Joseon, works with the foreign interests which causes Ja-young to stand up to him and the foreign diplomats. The king’s father then gives his implicit approval for the Japanese to assassinate Queen Ja-young. Moo-myoung must now fend off these threats to protect the woman he loves …
